Plastic surgery and non-surgical aesthetics in Korea
This combined guide reflects how travelers may browse surgical and non-surgical aesthetic categories. It does not compare clinics, promise a result, or replace an examination and informed-consent discussion with a licensed clinician.
What this category commonly includes
Facial and body surgical procedure pathways
Facial and body surgery are broad menu categories, not one interchangeable procedure. Surgery involves risk, so a consultation should identify the specific procedure and discuss alternatives and material risks before a decision.
Injectables, lifting and contouring pathways
Non-surgical does not mean risk-free. Ask for the exact product or device, intended use, responsible clinician, limits, alternatives, possible adverse effects, and what urgent symptoms require immediate care.
Questions for the licensed clinician
- Who performs the procedure, and what qualifications and facility standards apply?
- Am I a suitable candidate, and what non-procedural or different procedural alternatives exist?
- Which material risks, anesthesia issues, recovery restrictions, and revision possibilities apply?
- When is it safe to travel, and who provides urgent and long-term follow-up?
Sponsored-content disclosure
U.S. FTC guidance says creator content should clearly disclose money, complimentary care, travel support, discounts, gifts, or any other material connection when U.S. consumers may be affected. The disclosure should be easy to notice and understand in the same language and format as the content.
Other jurisdictions and platforms may impose different or additional requirements, which each campaign must identify for its target markets; this guide does not establish worldwide compliance.
A creator's account is personal experience, not clinical evidence, a treatment recommendation, or a guarantee of results.
Medical and travel-safety boundary
An expressed interest is not a treatment decision or medical consent, and a licensed clinician must independently assess suitability, alternatives, risks, and follow-up.
Plan for records, recovery time, complications, and follow-up before travel. Seek urgent local medical care for a suspected complication; GIWA MEDI is not an emergency service or a medical provider.
